My stay in Belgium with Lux

On this page you will find some pictures of Lux in the time she was in Belgium. Since the Land Rover is quite high it's a very nice tower for Ani (the black cat).

Me just checking the back of Lux to see if she is in need of some attention. I like to work on a Land Rovers. They build on real non plastic mechanics. You can easily remove parts and maintain the vehicle by your self. All basic stuff.

Time for a picture with me and Lux. This was a very nice sunny day in October 2004.

The previous owner had painted the hardtop. They made it green but I don't like that colour on the hardtop. I like it white. So here I am still remove some bits of green paint. In the back ground that grey crappy Alpha Romeo 147, diesel company car... They say it's a sportive car but it isn't. A Volvo S40 (diesel) has a better drive in the corners. My previous company car.

The drivers seat and dash. Very basic allways working gear. Even with those non adjustible seats you still have some comfort. And I know, I drove from Bristol UK to Leuven Belgium!

Some inspection of the engine bay. To keep her in shape she will need your attention. So Oil and Water checkes are needed. Those fine 4 cylinder engines are one of the best they ever made. It's from 1967 and still going strong.

Here some work to be done on the front bumper. As Land Rovers do rust.
